Autumn leaves... Luteal vibes!

I love this time of year!

I know it's not everyone's favorite, but I love that delicious shift from hot summer days to crisp nights. Days are getting shorter and the sunlit hours are made more precious knowing that Winter is approaching.

It's not unlike that Post-Ovulation dive into the Luteal Phase.

In fact, what happens in our bodies is a direct reflection of what is happening outside of us, in Nature. And what is happening in Her is a reflection of what's happening inside us.

The life of the egg follicle is just like the lifespan of a leaf on a tree; the bud ripening through the Spring, bursting into a vibrant green leaf in the Summer, and turning yellow in the Autumn, before withering and falling to the Earth in the Winter, to be reborn again in Spring.

Once Ovulation happens, estrogen ebbs away and progesterone raises our internal body temperature - and our self-protective instincts. We're more inclined to turn our focus inward, layer up in cozy clothes and make sure everything is crossed off our To-Do list.

This is the Magic of the Luteal Phase; we're preparing to enter our womb-cave when the Winter of our Menstruation arrives. Conversely, if conception is your desire, we're preparing our womb-cave with optimal coziness and security to welcome the life we're inviting.

This is also the phase of the cycle that many struggle with. In fact, 90% of women and menstruators report adverse symptoms, most often in the Luteal Phase.

Contrary to what we've been taught, PMS is NOT a phase of the cycle, and it's not 'just part of being female'. PMS symptoms - while very common - can be signs of underlying issues that charting your cycle can actually help you to understand and receive help with.

In fact, recent studies show that when female hormones are supported in the Follicular Phase, women report fewer symptoms in the Luteal Phase.

Charting your cycle help us in many ways.

I believe that by charting our cycles, we can help to reconnect with the Earth's natural cycles, and live in harmony with them - and with our own bodies.

Do you feel a pull within your body to become more aligned with Nature's Cycles - and your own?

I can help you discover how!

In just a few months I am launching new Fertility Awareness Education programs! Stay tuned...

Love
